CalendNow Children and Education Privacy Notice

Effective date: 29.09.2026

CalendNow’s standard service is intended for adult account holders and adult direct participants. This Notice explains the restrictions adopted by Software Programming Group LLC (Provider) and the additional review required for educational use. It is not a representation that the standard service operates a verified parental-consent program or meets every school procurement requirement.

1. Standard service audience

Individuals under 18 must not create their own standard account or directly use the standard service except under a separately approved arrangement. An adult may schedule for another person when lawfully authorized, using the adult’s own contact details and limiting information about that person to what is necessary. Hosts must not invite children to enter information through ordinary booking pages in circumvention of these restrictions.

The Provider does not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13 through the standard service. An age restriction does not excuse the Provider from obligations that arise if it acquires actual knowledge of prohibited collection.

2. Reports and deletion

A parent, guardian, school, or other person who believes a child has supplied information improperly should contact privacy@calendnow.ai, identifying the relevant booking page or account without sending unnecessary sensitive information. We will investigate, take reasonable steps to verify authority where appropriate, restrict further collection, and delete or otherwise address the information as required by law.

If a Host controls the record, we may refer or transmit the request to that Host and assist it under the DPA. This referral does not displace our own legal duties. We do not require a requester to purchase a subscription to report a child-privacy concern.

3. Educational deployments

A school or educational organization must obtain prior written approval before using CalendNow to collect protected student records or provide direct child access. The parties must first document the permitted educational purpose, relevant student age groups, authorized personnel, data categories, access and correction process, disclosures, retention, deletion, and necessary contractual controls.

Where a school-official exception under FERPA is relied on, the arrangement must meet the applicable requirements, including the school’s control over use and maintenance of education records and limits on redisclosure. Where COPPA applies, required notice and a valid authorization mechanism must be in place before collection. School authorization, when legally available, is limited to the educational context and does not authorize unrelated commercial use. Other state or national student-data laws may impose additional requirements.

4. Parent and student requests

In an approved school deployment, parents and eligible students should normally contact the educational institution for access, correction, and deletion requests concerning its records. The Provider will assist the institution and comply with any obligations that apply directly to it. Contact privacy@calendnow.ai if the institution cannot be identified or there is concern about the Provider’s own processing.

5. Future changes

If the Provider establishes an approved child-facing service, it will provide the applicable specific notices and consent or authorization processes before collecting information through that service. A revision to this Notice alone is not parental consent or school approval. Our business address is 5 Independence Way, Suite 300, Princeton, New Jersey 08540, United States.
